SMART is a well-established tool that you can use to plan and achieve your goals.

It is an effective tool that provides the clarity, focus, and motivation you need to achieve your goals.I have also developed a SMART goal for myself that is:

“I will learn time management skill by the end of this Amal fellowship i.e. 2.5 months, using fellowship as an excellent opportunity by making fellowship tasks specific time-table this week and rescheduling it by making new time-tables during internship and exams period, furthermore sticking to its devised time limits practicing timely submission of tasks.”

I have worked out the first three tasks for achieving my SMART goal;

1)I will design a proper Fellowship-specific timetable this week.

2)Next week,I will be making a rescheduled time-table as per internship commitments which I’ll be having next month.

3)Week after next week; with my exams by end of May, would be a great challenge while preparing a schedule for fellowship in that time-limited period.

As I read somewhere;

“All time management begins with planning”-(Tom Greening)

>I have completed my first task this week.

TIMETABLE!

Previously, in the last week, I got the Fellowship courses and projects bit tricky to complete in assigned time, Although I submitted on time but due to lack of proper scheduling of time,It was challenging.In order to get rid of it,I adopted time management as my SMART goal.

Therefore, as per my first task of SMART goal,I designed a proper timetable specific to Fellowship activities on Monday morning.It did take me 2 HOURS while specifying some of my time every day from the hectic university schedule for the fellowship.

It was really testing prioritizing time for Fellowship keeping in mind the time available for university classes and its assignments and tasks.But Amal principle of progress KAAM,KAAM aur KAAM here played a role by giving me courage and willpower to give plenty time for fellowship because I found it as the best source for me to practice time management.

Importantly I followed the timetable strictly this week,and it was really delightful and encouraging for me,when all activities end within their respective time domain.I felt contented and all of my previous week anxiety was over.

I have roughly prepared a draft of the rescheduled timetable for my internship and exams period in April and May respectively,which I’ll be working to finalize in upcoming weeks according to my next tasks.
